Why?
Over time, you’ll start using Simple-Simon more and more professionally. By this, we mean that you will begin to use an increasing number of features such as building up historical data, adding more articles/items, managing job sheets, customer addresses, contacts, and potentially even an integration with an accounting software package.
Imagine you’re a start-up and you’ve installed and are using the Simon App on an older device. You import job addresses and your fast-moving articles and start with the graphical planner. You like it; it works simply. You import all your customers and job addresses, activate the history module, and after a while, decide to integrate it with your accounting package. Fortunately, your company is successful, you’re growing fast, and eventually, you have a thousand customers and a thousand articles. Logically, all these customers and articles are linked to a history, articles, job addresses, job sheets, and also an integration.
Simon customers start small (with little data), but this increases over time. The larger your company becomes, the more the Simon App will demand in terms of RAM and processor speed from your device. On average, Simon customers have thousands of articles with photos and barcodes, thousands to tens of thousands of customers/job addresses, 5 to 10 beautifully designed questionnaires, and need to know immediately what happened during the previous visit, etc. The Simon App is then a critical tool that ultimately forms the basis for the invoice to your end customer. Saving money on hardware is not smart in this scenario. Therefore, ensure you choose a device that can handle it and grow with you. Professional use requires professional hardware. Technology advances quickly, and you don’t want to start with a disadvantage.
